SOCCER - Footy Japan
Footy Japan is committed to providing all your footballing needs. The organization itself is made up of three units: the Tokyo Metropolis League, the British Football Academy and Footy Japan tournaments. Throughout the season tournaments regularly take place in and around Tokyo, as well as the occasional international event.

TENNIS - Krissman International Tennis School
Whether or not you want to blow off some steam after a hard week’s work, or you want to find a group activity your children can enjoy, Krissman Tennis School is the place to go. The school boasts a number of USPTA certified coaches ready to train players of all ages and abilities. Even learners as young as three years old can enjoy training with the ‘Little Tennis’ program.

TENNIS - Jinji Tennis
Aiming to be the number one Tennis place for foreigners living in and around Tokyo, Jinji set their priorities on helping you develop your own style and having fun. Instruction at the center is always provided by professionally qualified coaches, including former tournament pro Shai Gigi.

TENNIS - Globa Tennis
Globa Tennis Club offers a range of activities for both kids and adults, with instruction available for speakers of English, Japanese and French. ‘Early bird’ lessons are a great way to fit in a game before heading to work. Day and evening lessons are also available on both weekdays and weekends.

AUSTRALIAN RULES - Goannas Australian Rules
Tokyo’s own Goannas Australian Rules Football Club are one of the top teams in the land. The Goannas play primarily in Japan’s Open League (the top division) and are always looking for fresh blood to join their team.

TOUCH RUGBY− The Japanese Rugby League
Oz Tag is recent form of Touch Rugby, which puts the emphasis on skill and teamwork rather than tackling and brute force. This style has already developed a strong following in Australia, and Britain & now it’s your chance to get involved too. The Japanese Rugby League organizes weekly practice meetups Oz Tag style, and are looking for new members to join in the latest season of play.

BASKETBALL - Tokyo Gaijins Basketball Club
The Tokyo Gaijins Basketball club is in charge of the biggest international basketball group in Japan, holding regular games in Tamachi and Akasaka on weekends and weeknights. Competitive and Upper-intermediate level games for adults only are currently in progress, although beginner and lower intermediate level players are welcome to come down and practice in between matches.

HOCKEY - Tokyo Street Hockey Association
The TSHA, now in it’s 12th year, always manages to draw a crowd at one of their regular meetups. Equipment needed for game is minimal: a hockey stick, comfortable clothes, trainers (no roller blades), gloves and shin pads if you like the extra protection. Meetups are usually held on Sundays.

GOLF - Jinji Golf
Jinji Golf are on a mission to bring the fun back into Golf tuition. Based in Shinjuku, this sports company have been providing ‘genki’ golf tuition for many years. All of the groups’ instructors are fully licensed and well-experienced, with plenty of advice for improving your game.

SKI & SNOWBOARDING - Tokyo Gaijins Ski & Snowboarding Club
For Winter Sports, the Tokyo Gaijins Ski & Snowboarding Club is a great place to start. The group schedules trips for each Winter season, and are happy to welcome new members to join in the fun. For anyone that’s never been skiing or snowboarding before the club doesn’t offer any formal lessons, but as everyone is quick to become friends, helping hands are always available.

CYCLING - Half-Fast Cycling
An international bunch with riding on their minds, the Half-Fast Cycling club has been active in the Tokyo area for many years. Membership is free, so all you need to get started is a sturdy bike and safety equipment. The group’s regular riding times are at weekends, with a number of established routes in the city, for all levels.

WINE TASTING - Wine Tasting & Cooking Club
Each month the French Wine Tasting Club offers wine tasters the chance come together to learn about and enjoy all aspects of wine appreciation. Those with a taste for fine wine might also be tempted by the chance to prepare some fine cuisine with the Cooking Friends group. This group holds monthly cooking classes for French and Italian cuisine in Ikebukuro & Shibuya.

SINGING -Tokyo International Singers
One of Tokyo’s longest running vocal ensembles, T.I.S. pride themselves on being an independent but highly professional chorus group. Conductor Marcel L’ Esperance and manager Carol Melby are the team behind T.I.S., forming this choir (as well as four others) way back in the early eighties.
